Degradation- A Dilation Prequel

You’re the predator… right up until you’re prey.  Daniel, a mammoth-sized enforcer for the Chicago mafia, nurses his wounds and a serious grudge after discovering he’s the sole survivor of an assault on his compound. His boss, the boss’s family, and everyone who mattered— is dead. Naturally, he wants payback, and he wanted it yesterday.  

Enter Calvin, a guy in the same line of work who Daniel runs into during his recovery. Calvin wants out of the mob, and he’s willing to share the best lead he has about the attack with Daniel. In return, Daniel will protect Calvin from Calvin’s ex-leader, Dean Talbert, a ruthless criminal who’s definitely going to take one of his men deserting personally.  

While Calvin’s lead pans out, his deal with Daniel puts both of them—and their friends—in Talbert’s crosshairs. Worse, Daniel’s habit of attacking first and asking questions later leaves him outmatched in a game of wills with the Windy City’s deadliest kingpin. Daniel needs to find an edge, fast, or his long road to revenge will be the least of their problems.
